It’s funny how bands crop up, this was suggested to me via Facebook. Usually I get emails saying, ‘ listen to my band, we sound like My Bloody Valentine.’ This might be true depending on the amount drugs that are in your system. It was exciting to actually get a recommendation that was so good.
This is the solitary release from the Scottish trio from Falkirk. Well, they were only together for a year, during 1986 - 1987. Comparisons have been made to The Field Mice, but it reminds me of The Bodines. This Scarlet Train has a very strong rhythm section like The Bodines. The outcome is a sound that is darker and not so sweet as The Field Mice, but still beautiful and dreamy.

I'm excting too. I love them and I wrote a blog post in italian http://0t0.blogspot.com/2011/05/meteore-un-treno-scarlatto-nella-grigia.html and I'm agree with you, their sound is darker than field mice and the bodines but still amazing and dreamy.
